Shanna was born and raised in the Austin/Central Texas area and has been a speech-language pathologist since 1991. She has degrees from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and her Master's degree from the University of Texas - Austin with a specialization in cognitive rehabilitation, as well as swallowing/dysphagia disorders for adults. She has experience working in most all settings to include: telehealth, outpatient clinic, home health, & rehabilitation hospital. She has two grown children; and lives with her husband and labradoodle - who thinks she's in charge of the house. Outside of work, she enjoys a strong work-life balance to include: camping, music, & traveling with my family and friends locally, in the USA & even abroad.
